		<description>
The 6 Minute Instructor is dedicated to providing quality videos for the purposes of personal enlightenment and enjoyment, professional development and topic related education.

Why 6 Minutes? -- We do not place any restrictions on your size or format but it might be good to know that once you start to exceed 6-8 minutes of video the persistent dial-up Internet connection folks will have a hard time downloading your product. Broadband connections (DSL, Cable, Satellite) will be fine. Currently we accept a 200MB upload.

Why the iPod? -- Some instructional videos can be run on an iPod for portability. The narrated Martial Arts videos are a perfect example. You can hike to a mountain top and take your Master with you for practice. Also many technical lessons are handy to have while working away from the home or office. We encourage you to offer an iPod version of your video for free when any other format is purchased and downloaded.

Committment to Quality - Let&amp;#39;s get this straight right off the bat. We expect quality videos. You have professionally lit scenes, you have an external microphone, you have edited your piece and the screen play makes a coherent story. We&amp;#39;re not asking for a perfect production but we&amp;#39;re not looking for Joe Sikspak slapping his bass guitar for 59 seconds. If a video has zero sales in six months we reserve the right to remove it from our site. If you still think the video has value we can move it to the Sponsored area and you will be charged a nominal fee each month for storage relating to your video&amp;#39;s size and the amount of network you consume with people downloading your free video.

File Size Limits – This is a site for relatively short, quality instructional videos. Our target customers are the entire Internet population from dial-up to OC-whatever communication links. Don’t upload your DVD to sell it here. You can upload and sell individual video clips that may comprise some or all of your DVD. Or “test drive” marketing your short instructional clips for compilation into a DVD at a later date. Keep in mind if you have no sales in 6 months AND are a space abuser, you will be asked to use our Sponsored Download Area. Specific file size limitations may be enacted if needed.

Site Update: Uploading videos is working fine for broadband connections. Feel free to upload, browse and buy. This site is still under development though so please report any problems to support@6MinuteInstructor.com
